Dr. Raquel McClendon

As an empowerment lecturer, recording artist, author, and conference host, Evangelist Dr. Raquel McClendon sits as founder and CEO of Wisdom and Vision International Ministry. Fuelled by a passion for character building, life coaching and spiritual rejuvenation, Evangelist McClendon merges spirituality with the practicality of everyday life. Her candid and revealing approach has engaged many men, women and teens provoking them to pursue a lifestyle of integrity, success and happiness. Wherever Evangelist McClendon goes, she exhorts, encourages and empowers her listeners to reach their full potential in their personal, entrepreneurial and spiritual lives.

Born Raquel Brown on April 6, in Manhattan, New York, Evangelist McClendon at an early age, she felt "Called", she knew God had placed the psalmist gift in her. She grew up loving Tramaine Hawkins and many pioneers of the Gospel. However, she never thought of herself as a vocalist. Encouraged by the late Mrs. Rosalee Jackson of Crescent, Georgia, she reluctantly began to sing. Evangelist McClendon's ministry continues to grow, she has shared the stage with the legendary Lee Williams, Luther Barnes, Evelyn Turrentine-Agee, Helen Miller, and Derek Smith and several acclaimed Gospel artists.
In 2000 God anointed her to preach his divine word where she serves under the leadership of Dr. Griffin Lotson, Sams Memorial Church of God In Christ, in Darien, Georgia. Presently, she is a member of Sams New Birth Church of God in Christ where she serves as an evangelist and serve under the leadership and direction of Dr. Carl L. Dixon.

Evangelist McClendon is a graduate of Edward Waters College in Jacksonville Florida, and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology. She obtained a Master degree from The National Graduate School of Quality Management, and Doctorate in Divinity from Wings of Faith Bible College

Dr. McClendon firmly believes that you can rise above your circumstances and tap into the realm of the El Shaddai where all the cares of the world could be cast unto him. Her next project which is a musical arrangement entitled, "Saturate Me Lord" is available now.

Whether she is leading worship, ministering the word, or chatting with a friend, the message of hope, freedom and fullness in Christ is always forefront. She encourages people to "be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind" and then walk in power and authority, never abandoning what God has left for them in HIS completeness.
